1: Lie on non-testing side, with hips flexed at 70° and knees flexed at 90°
2: Adjust housing and subject position to position circular pad 1cm above the lateral femoral condyle of upper (test) knee. Use wedges/pillows to maintain separation of knees and feet and hip neutral in frontal plane.
3: Adjust housing angle to ensure the sensor pad is at right angles to thigh on contact
1: Test unilaterally
2: Describe external rotation / 'opening upper hip, clam action'
3: Squeeze knee into pad
4: Keep pelvis and trunk still
5: Keep feet together
6: Build to maximum force over 5 seconds
