1: Lie supine in crook lying, with head and shoulders through the uprights and arms folded across abdomen

2: Adjust housing and subject position to align flat pad 2cm above the sternum and 5cm below level of the nipples

Cues

1: Initiate an abdominal curl, tucking the chin to the chest rolling the torso until the sternum touches the circular pad

2: Maintaining trunk curl and abdominal hollow, squeeze sternum into flat sensor pad

3: Build to maximum force over 5 seconds
