1: Lie on non-test side, facing frame upright, elbow at 90° flexion and humerus in mid axillary line
2: Place foam block / rolled towel between humerus and ribs to maintain humerus in scapular plane / neutral shoulder position
3: With forearm parallel to ground, adjust bar height so that pad is flush with back of wrist and sensor arm is at right angles to forearm
4: Ensure torso is vertically orientated on side

2: Describe humeral rotation axis
3: Set scapular, drawing humeral head, squeeze wrist into pad, maintaining scapular and trunk position
4: Build to maximum force over 5 seconds
