1: Lie on testing side, facing frame. Elbow flexed 90°, humerus just anterior to trunk
2: Place pillow under ribs/trunk to decompress gleno-humeral joint.
3: With forearm flat on mat, adjust housing so that pad is flush with wrist, and sensor arm is at right angles to forearm
4: Ensure torso is vertically orientated on side
1: Test unilaterally
2: Describe humeral rotation axis
3: Set scapular, drawing humeral head, squeeze wrist into pad, maintaining scapular and trunk position
4: Build to maximum force over 5 seconds
